Women's Group Communal Garden

The women’s group decided to start a bigger community garden. Some of them had already started small gardens next to their houses as the water became available. This communal garden is located in the new schoolyard and intended to feed the students. It also serves as a test plot where during the training by the agricultural expert new crops like potatoes were introduced. This was a hands-on training program for the new teachers and the community alike.
