Solar Cookers or the School in Fiadanana

Thank you! Zahana made it to 3rd place and got the $1000 bonus

The GlobalGiving Green Challenge was completed April 28, 2009. Our project “Solar cookers for the school in Fiadanana” took part in the challenge

From April 4 to April 28, 2008 all donation were matched with 50% to the dollar by GlobalGiving. This challenge was by invitation only. Only projects meeting the GlobalGiving green criteria were selected for GlobalGiving Green.

That means for every dollar you donated, Zahana received another $0.50. The match was available from April 4 to April 28 only or until $25,000 in matching funds had been depleted.

In addition to matching funds, Zahana competed for additional funding!  The three projects receiving the greatest number of individual donations received extra prizes of $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000, respectively.  Even if matching funds are depleted, the challenge portion of the campaign will continued until April 28th.
